Robert D. Hayes
Vice President, Business Analysis and General Auditor

Robert D. Hayes joined HNI Corporation in 1980 and is currently Vice President, Business Analysis and General Auditor. Mr. Hayes is responsible for the management of the financial business analysis group and internal audit group for the corporation. Other positions with the company have been Vice President & Controller of The HON Company and Assistant Corporate Controller.

Prior to joining The HON Company, he held financial positions in manufacturing and public accounting with KPMG including one year on loan as a Visiting Associate Professor of Accounting.

Mr. Hayes is a CPA and CMA and has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.
